Role and Responsibilities:
Marketing Efforts:
- Develop and implement comprehensive digital marketing strategies to drive traffic to the D2C website through various channels including SEO PPC social media and affiliate marketing.
- Analyze performance metrics to optimize campaigns for maximum ROI and conversion rates.
- Enable Social commerce as a alternative channel to scale -up
Sales & Margins Management:
- Own and oversee the sales performance ensuring alignment with overall business objectives and revenue targets.
- Monitor profit margins and implement strategies to improve profitability through pricing promotions and product mix.
Merchandising & Inventory Management:
- Lead merchandising efforts to curate and present products effectively enhancing the customer shopping experience.
- Oversee inventory management processes to ensure optimal stock levels minimize excess inventory and prevent stockouts.
Catalogue Management:
- Manage the online product catalogue ensuring accurate and up-to-date product descriptions images and specifications.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure smooth product launches and updates.
Offer Management:
- Develop and execute promotional offers and campaigns that drive sales and enhance customer engagement.
- Monitor and analyze the performance of promotions to inform future strategies.
Customer Experience Management:
- Maintain a customer-centric approach to enhance overall customer experience on the website from browsing to checkout.
- Implement and manage customer feedback mechanisms to identify areas for improvement.
- Own the customer experience on Affordability levers & O2D TATs that stand out as a differentiator within the e-commerce ecosystem.
- Establish and maintain turnaround times for key processes such as order fulfillment customer service inquiries and product updates.
Website Hygiene & Performance:
- Ensure the website maintains high standards of hygiene including fast load times user-friendly navigation and mobile responsiveness.
- Regularly conduct audits and implement best practices for website management.
Qualifications:
- Bachelors degree Business Administration or a related field; MBA must from top tier institutions.
- Proven experience in e-commerce managementD2C digital marketing and performance analytics preferably in a startup environment.
- Strong understanding of merchandising inventory management and sales optimization strategies.
- Excellent analytical skills with the ability to derive actionable insights from data.
- Exceptional leadership and team management abilities.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills excellent stakeholder management .
- Familiarity with e-commerce platforms web analytics tools and marketing automation software.
- Willingness to work & adapt to the startup kind of an environment.
