About the role:
We have a fantastic opportunity now available in our Tenterfield Retail Store for an experienced enthusiastic and organised self-starter to join our team on a part-time basis.
Your day-to-day activities will include:
- Provide agricultural advisory and sales service to clients and build business partnerships with our customer base through the provision of sound technical advice.
- Proactively source new customers to achieve branch KPIs and sales targets.
- Inventory management including ordering receipting stocktake and dispatch.
- Processing of sales and generating quotes.
- Delivering products to customers.
About you:
You will need to beenthusiastic and self-motivated withgreat customer service and sales experience. Able to meet deadlines whilst balancing a range of work and have a keen interest in an agricultural environment.
Skills and experience required to be successful in this role:
- Strong customer service and sales experience.
- Experience working in a rural retail and warehousing environment (highly desirable).
- Demonstrated understanding of the rural industry.
- Technical skills in Agricultural Science Animal Health or Agronomy is an advantage.
- Demonstrated excellent written verbal and interpersonal skills.
- Computer literacy skills including Microsoft office POS and administration skills.
- Physically fit to perform the manual handling aspects of the role.
- A strong focus on Work Health & Safety.
- Drivers licence essential.
- Forklift licence or willingness to get one.
