Inviting applications for the role of Principal Consultant- QA Engineer
We are looking for a skilled QA Engineer with strong expertise in Behavior Driven Development (BDD) Cucumber and test automation frameworks. The ideal candidate will design develop and maintain automated test scripts to ensure the quality and reliability of our software products.
Responsibilities
1. Develop and maintain automated test scripts using BDD frameworks primarily Cucumber.
2. Collaborate closely with product owners developers and other stakeholders to understand requirements and define test scenarios.
3. Design and implement test automation strategies to improve testing efficiency and coverage.
4. Execute automated test suites and analyze results to identify defects or issues.
5. Maintain and enhance existing test automation frameworks and tools.
6. Write clear concise and comprehensive test cases and documentation.
7. Participate in Agile/Scrum ceremonies and contribute to continuous improvement of QA processes.
Qualifications we seek in you!
Minimum Qualifications
Bachelors degree
Preferred Qualifications/ Skills
1. Proven experience as a QA Engineer with hands-on expertise in BDD and Cucumber.
2. Strong knowledge of test automation tools and frameworks (e.g. Selenium TestNG JUnit).
3. Proficiency in at least one programming language such as Java JavaScript or Python.
4. Experience with continuous integration (CI) tools like Jenkins GitLab CI or similar.
5. Familiarity with Agile development methodologies.
6. Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
7. Strong communication and collaboration skills.
