Job Summary

The Cloud Engineer will be responsible for implementing and maintaining cloud infrastructure that supports the companys fintech products. This role requires deep expertise in cloud technologies security and performance optimization. The Cloud Engineer will work closely with development DevOps team cloud architect and other stakeholders to ensure that cloud environments are robust secure and aligned with the companys strategic goals.

Required Skills:

Cloud Architecture and design:

Assist in implementing designs architectures provided by the cloud architect.
Develop and maintain architectural blueprints and best practices for cloud deployments.
Collaborate with software engineers and DevOps teams to ensure cloud solutions are optimized for efficiency and reliability.

Infrastructure as Code (IaC):

Implement and manage Infrastructure as Code (IaC) using tools such as Terraform CloudFormation or similar technologies to automate the provisioning configuration and monitoring of cloud resources.

Cloud Security and Compliance:

Implement cloud security best practices including identity and access management (IAM ZeroTrust etc.. ) data encryption and network security.
Ensure cloud environments implemented comply with industry regulations such as PCI DSS GDPR and other relevant standards based on

Performance Monitoring and Optimization:

Assist in setting up and managing monitoring tools to track system performance security and reliability.
Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to cloud infrastructure ensuring minimal downtime.

Disaster Recovery and Business Continuity:

Implement disaster recovery plans and strategies to ensure business continuity.
Test and validate disaster recovery procedures to ensure readiness in case of an emergency.

Documentation and Knowledge Sharing:

Document cloud architecture with relevant implementation details (IP addresses domains / subdomain mapped network/host configurations and firewall whitelisting etc...)
