Job Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and passionate Computer Teacher and Art Teacher to join our Podar International School located in Kolhapur. This full-time junior position requires a minimum of 1 to 3 years of experience. The ideal candidate will be motivated to provide excellent instruction in both computer and art disciplines fostering a love for learning among students.
Qualifications and Skills
- Must possess a Bachelor of Fine Arts (BFA) degree (Mandatory skill) for the Art Teacher role with a strong emphasis in practical teaching methods.
- Proven experience as a Computer Faculty (Mandatory skill) with the ability to teach technical skills effectively to students.
- Demonstrated skills as an Art Teacher with a creative flair in various art techniques and mediums.
- Proficiency as a Computer Teacher with a sound understanding of computer applications and digital literacy.
- A Master of Fine Arts (MFA) degree is preferred and will be considered an asset in evaluating qualifications.
- Adept at using technology to enhance the learning experience in both art and computer labs.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to build effective relationships with students and colleagues.
- Capable of designing engaging lesson plans tailored to students varying capabilities and interests.
Roles and Responsibilities
- Design and implement lesson plans that effectively teach both art concepts and computer skills.
- Develop students creativity and proficiency in a variety of art mediums and technology uses.
- Assess student progress and adapt teaching strategies to meet diverse learning needs.
- Maintain an organized and resource-rich learning environment in both the art and computer labs.
- Collaborate with fellow teachers to enhance integrated learning experiences across disciplines.
- Encourage students to participate in art competitions and technology-based projects and fairs.
- Communicate regularly with parents and guardians regarding student performance and progress.
- Stay updated with the latest educational trends and tools in art and technology education.
