Job Description
We are looking for a Quality Engineer ll to join our team at Jar in Bengaluru. As a Quality Assurance Tester you will be responsible for ensuring that our products and applications meet the required quality standards before they are released. You will be conducting manual testing across multiple platforms and working closely with cross-functional teams to identify prioritize and address defects and bugs.

Work with cross-functional teams to ensure quality throughout the development process.

Assist in the creation of test plans and test cases based on project requirements and specifications..

Design test scenarios and implement new or complex tests investigating issues or gaps between actual and expected results.

Ability to think out of the box use cases/corner cases to build quality products.

Identify and communicate defects to cross-functional teams proactively
-
Actively engage in the entire software test life cycle (STLC).

Collaborate with developers designers and product managers to understand requirements and improve user experience.

Conduct root cause analysis of issues and implement preventive measures
-
4-6 years of relevant experience in manual quality assurance coupled with a robust understanding of the Software Testing Life Cycle (STLC) and QA processes.

Demonstrated proficiency in testing mobile applications (Android/iOS) and web applications with strong capabilities in both frontend and backend testing.

Extensive experience with bug-tracking systems and other testing utilities such as Charles Postman and Proxyman.

Good at debugging skills and a systematic approach to problem-solving.

Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to identify and communicate defects to cross-functional teams.

Competence in SQL/MongoDB queries..

Strong attention to detail communication and documentation skills.

Self-motivated detail-oriented and capable of working in a fast-paced environment.

Prior exposure to test automation tools (e.g. Selenium Rest Assured Appium) is advantageous

A Bachelors degree or higher in Computer Science Engineering or a closely related field.
