Job Description:
We are looking for an experienced IT Operations Support Team Lead to join our team in Pune. This role requires expertise in Unix servers Middleware technologies and providing L2/L3 support in a high-performance environment. The ideal candidate should come from a Payment Services background with proven leadership experience.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead and manage a team of IT support professionals providing L2/L3 support for Unix servers and Middleware applications.
- Oversee the installation configuration and maintenance of Unix servers and Middleware systems.
- Troubleshoot and resolve complex issues in Payment Services applications ensuring minimal downtime and high availability.
- Monitor system performance and proactively identify and resolve potential issues.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to implement changes and updates in production environments.
- Provide escalation support for critical incidents and guide the team in problem resolution.
- Ensure adherence to operational procedures and best practices in system support and maintenance.
- Lead incident management root cause analysis and post-mortem reviews for critical incidents.
- Prepare and maintain system documentation processes and knowledge base articles.
Required Skills:
- 8 to 12 years of experience in IT Operations support with a strong focus on Unix servers and Middleware technologies.
- Proven experience in L2/L3 support in an enterprise environment.
- Extensive knowledge of Payment Services and related technologies.
- Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills especially in production environments.
- Ability to lead and mentor a team of IT support professionals.
- Excellent communication skills both verbal and written for interacting with stakeholders and clients.
