Join Our Team as an Accounting Manager!
Are you an experienced accounting professional looking for a rewarding opportunity to make a difference in the community Holy Spirit Church in Sioux Falls SD is seeking a dedicated Accounting Manager to maintain financial records and ensure compliance with all accounting standards.
Responsibilities:
- Manage daily financial transactions and accounting processes.
- Prepare and analyze financial reports for Parish Finance Committee.
- Process and manage payroll deposits accounts payable and accounts receivable.
- Manage restricted donations and pass-through contributions
- Oversee and manage offering collection process.
- Ensure best practices are implemented for compliance with diocesan local state and federal tax regulations.
- Prepare and file Forms 941 W-2 and W-3 in a timely manner
Qualifications:
- Bachelors Degree in Accounting or an Associates Degree in Bookkeeping.
- Prior experience in an accounting and/or bookkeeping role is preferred.
- Proficient in financial software and MS Office.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to consistently show discretion when handling sensitive information.
