JOB SPECIFICATION
Core Functions:
The Assistant Manager is responsible for assisting the Accounting Manager in the Accounting and Reporting function of the Company. The incumbent is expected to remain apprised of the companys operations macro-economic variables (changes in interest rates new security issues competitor products financial performance etc.) generally accepted Accounting practices International Accounting Standards and the stated policies and procedures of the company.

The incumbent should possess excellent organizational and time management skills communication skills flexibility and an ability to manage the variety of tasks assigned. The incumbent will also require a working knowledge of policies and procedures and knowledge of the companys operations.
1. Knowledge of stated policies & procedures
2. Knowledge of the companys products services and operations
3. Knowledge of preparation of routine IFRS compliant financial statements
4. Knowledge of relevant regulatory requirements and tax law
5. Thorough knowledge of Accounting principles and practices
6. Proficiency with Spreadsheet software (preferably MS Excel)
7. Proficiency with software used by the entity to record financial transactions
