Seeking recent graduates Paraprofessionals Direct Support Professionals Habilitation Technicians Personal Care Aides Nurses Aides Caregivers those caring for a family member and those interested in working with individuals with Autism Cerebral Palsy Down Syndrome and other Intellectual or Developmental Disabilities (IDDs).
BAYADA Habilitation is currently seeking a Habilitation Technician to work as a Caregiver for individuals with autism intellectual or developmental caregivers embody both empathy and respect in every interaction striving to uplift and empower the people they support. Our caregivers provide 1:1 support in the home and in the community.
Paid Apprentice Program: No experience required We are committed to investing in and nurturing our team members desire to grow professionally and make a difference in their community.
How Youll Make an Impact:
Spend time on the clients favorite hobbies and activities.
Assist with everyday tasks such as meal preparation.
Participate in community integration activities errands and appointments.
Patiently teach encourage and celebrate small achievements giving people the space to grow.
Opportunity to enhance caregiving skills with support from our on-staff nurse and managers.
Provide personal care assistance as needed

Qualifications:
One year experience working with clients with intellectual and development disabilities preferred but not required (paid training provided)
High school diploma or equivalent
Be at least 18 years of age
