Position: QA Engineer (QA Manual Engineer)
Experience: 3 Yrs
Job Location: Pune
Work Mode: Work from Office
Job Responsibilities:
- Execute manual test cases and identify defects ensuring the software meets specified requirements and quality standards.
- Collaborate with the development team QA teams project managers and clients to understand project requirements and create comprehensive test plans.
- Conduct functional integration regression and usability testing to validate software functionality and user experience.
- Document test results using tools like JIRA Bugzilla or similar bug tracking software track defects and provide detailed reports to the development team.
- Participate in test case reviews identifying areas for improvement and suggesting test automation opportunities.
- Assist in the development and maintenance of test data and test environments.
- Stay updated with industry trends and best practices in software testing methodologies and tools.
Required Skill Set:
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science Information Technology or a related field.
- Experience in Android/iOS Mobile Application Testing including knowledge of mobile device configurations app store guidelines and mobile-specific bugs.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with keen attention to detail.
- Basic understanding of software testing concepts methodologies and processes (Agile methodologies).
- Familiarity with manual testing techniques including test case design and execution.
- Good understanding of the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) and Software Testing Life Cycle (STLC).
- Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment and communicate effectively with stakeholders.
- Proficiency in using bug tracking and test management tools like JIRA or Bugzilla.
- Knowledge of programming languages and scripting is a plus.
- Ability to adapt to changing priorities and work under tight deadlines.
- Strong communication skills and a collaborative mindset to work effectively across teams.
- ISTQB certification or any relevant software testing certifications are a plus.
