Requirements
Responsibilities of PTA- Physical Therapist Assistant (Pediatrics) :
- Deliver direct therapy services including gait training exercise and therapeutic activities in both individual and group sessions.
- Monitor and document patient progress; provide instruction on home programs and transfers to patients and effectively with supervising Physical Therapist on patient status goals and care with hospital staff and outside providers; assist with equipment tracking and patient logistics.
- Maintain clinical knowledge through ongoing education mentorship and departmental competencies.
- Support department goals by attending meetings inservices and maintaining productivity standards.
