Were currently seeking a passionate and experienced Assistant Bars Manager to lead our vibrant bar teams across Charles Bar Nautilus Pool Bar and Best Brews at The Westin and Four Points by Sheraton Brisbane.

About the Role

As Assistant Bars Manager youll be a hands-on leader responsible for the day-to-day operations of our bar venues. Youll inspire and guide your teams to deliver exceptional guest experiences uphold brand standards and foster a culture of excellence and collaboration.

This is a dynamic leadership role ideal for someone who thrives in a fast-paced environment has a passion for hospitality and is ready to take the next step in their career with Marriott.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead and manage bar operations across Charles Bar Nautilus Pool Bar and Best Brews
  • Supervise and support bar teams to ensure consistent high-quality service
  • Conduct daily briefings and communicate service goals and updates
  • Maintain a welcoming and professional atmosphere for guests and team members
  • Monitor beverage quality presentation and guest satisfaction
  • Drive team performance and engagement during peak service periods
  • Uphold Marriott brand standards and ensure compliance with service protocols
  • Manage inventory stock levels and ordering processes
  • Oversee cash handling billing accuracy and POS system operations
About You
  • Proven experience in a supervisory or managerial role within a bar or hospitality setting
  • Strong leadership and interpersonal skills with a collaborative mindset
  • Confident decision-maker with a proactive approach to problem-solving
  • Energetic approachable and passionate about guest service
  • Excellent communication and team-building abilities
  • Holds a current Responsible Service of Alcohol (RSA) certification (Queensland)
  • Flexible availability across a 7-day rotating roster including evenings weekends and public holidays
