About the role.
Were looking for a motivated and detail-oriented SCPA Manager Trainee to join our Retail Sales Team in Spain based in Madrid. This internship will offer valuable exposure to the dynamic world of FMCG sales and administrative processes. Reporting to the Sales Director for the Mediterranean region youll split your time between managing essential sales administrative tasks and supporting our Key Account Managers and marketing efforts to ensure seamless execution of customer plans at the point of sale.
What youll be doing.
- Support the Sales team by managing mandate and application contracts.
- Approve national agreements and co-op invoices in Highradius ensuring alignment with contract references.
- Assist in credit and accounts receivable management by solving issues such as invoice claims pricing differences and credit notes.
- Serve as a liaison between Key Account Managers and Commercial Controllers to manage and analyze commercial accruals in SAP.
- Collaborate with marketing and category teams to stay updated on campaigns promotions and new product launches.
- Help coordinate external merchandising activities to ensure strong brand execution at retail points of sale.
- Support internal sales teams and management with performance tracking and administrative tasks.
- Ensure McCains visibility in industry publications and online platforms.
- Work cross-functionally with finance and marketing for smooth information flow and execution.
What youll need to be successful.
- Currently enrolled in a Bachelors or Masters program in Business Statistics Economics Mathematics or a related field.
- English C1 level both written and spoken.
- Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office (especially Excel); familiarity with SAP is a plus.
- A collaborative mindset and the ability to work with cross-functional teams in a multicultural environment.

About the team.
Youll be part of the Retail Sales Team for Spain reporting to the Sales Director for the Mediterranean Region. The team is dynamic collaborative and strongly aligned with McCains customer-first approach. Youll work closely with Key Account Managers Marketing Finance and external merchandising partners. Although you wont have direct reports your role will be pivotal in enabling smooth internal processes and external execution at the point of sale.
