What Youll Do
- Develop and maintain automated test suites for HackerEarths web and API products
- Collaborate closely with developers product managers and QA leads to define test strategies
- Write review and execute test cases - both manual and automated
- Implement UI and API test automation using tools like Selenium Playwright etc.
- Contribute to CI/CD pipelines to ensure automated tests are part of every release
- Track report and troubleshoot bugs effectively across the development lifecycle
- Ensure a high level of test coverage and reliability across environments
What Were Looking For
- 12 years of experience in a QA Automation or SDET role
- Good grasp of testing methodologies defect lifecycle and QA best practices
- Proficient in at least one programming/scripting language (e.g. Python JavaScript Java)
- Hands-on experience with automation frameworks for UI and/or API testing
- Exposure to tools like Selenium or Playwright
- Familiarity with Git and CI/CD systems such as GitHub Actions or CircleCI
- Excellent communication skills and strong attention to detail
- A startup mindset comfortable owning responsibilities end-to-end and working in fast-paced environments
Nice to Have
- Exposure to cloud platforms like AWS or GCP
- Knowledge of testing in microservices-based environments
- Awareness of accessibility and security testing principles
