Job Description

RN-Neonatal Intensive Care Unit Permanent Role

  • Location: Rowlett TX 75088
  • Shift: 12 HR Night 7:00 PM 7:00 AM
  • Guaranteed: 36 Hours
  • Compensation: Based on experience.
Responsibilities:
  • Deliver direct and specialized nursing care to premature and critically ill newborns.
  • Monitor vital signs administer medications and provide life-sustaining treatments.
  • Collaborate with neonatologists respiratory therapists and other healthcare professionals.
  • Educate and support families during emotionally challenging times.
  • Maintain accurate and complete patient records.
  • Adhere to infection control policies and all hospital protocols.
  • Respond quickly and effectively to neonatal emergencies.
Qualifications:
  • Graduate of an accredited nursing program.
  • License: Valid RN license.

Certifications:

  • Basic Life Support (BLS) Must be obtained within 30 days of hire if not already certified.
  • Neonatal Resuscitation Program (NRP) or must be completed within a designated timeframe.

Experience: Previous NICU experience new grads may be considered based on unit capacity and training availability.
