Job Description
RN-Neonatal Intensive Care Unit Permanent Role
- Location: Rowlett TX 75088
- Shift: 12 HR Night 7:00 PM 7:00 AM
- Guaranteed: 36 Hours
- Compensation: Based on experience.
- Deliver direct and specialized nursing care to premature and critically ill newborns.
- Monitor vital signs administer medications and provide life-sustaining treatments.
- Collaborate with neonatologists respiratory therapists and other healthcare professionals.
- Educate and support families during emotionally challenging times.
- Maintain accurate and complete patient records.
- Adhere to infection control policies and all hospital protocols.
- Respond quickly and effectively to neonatal emergencies.
- Graduate of an accredited nursing program.
- License: Valid RN license.
Certifications:
- Basic Life Support (BLS) Must be obtained within 30 days of hire if not already certified.
- Neonatal Resuscitation Program (NRP) or must be completed within a designated timeframe.
Experience: Previous NICU experience new grads may be considered based on unit capacity and training availability.
