Job Description
Job Title: Test Automation Engineer PlaywrightExperience: 4 years
Required Skills and Qualifications
B.E / / MCA / / . with a strong academic background
Minimum 4 years of experience in manual and automation testing
Technical Skills
Hands-on experience and strong skills with Playwright and scripting in TypeScript
Familiarity with bug tracking tools like Azure DevOps
Basic knowledge of programming languages such as Angular Python or C#
Understanding of RESTful APIs and database testing
Hands-on experience with Web Technologies
Roles and Responsibilities
Collaborate with Developers Architects Domain Experts System Testers and Functional Testers to ensure high-quality verification and validation
Prepare and maintain the test environment and automation infrastructure
Develop and maintain frameworks and scripts for a scalable automation setup
Support test execution debugging and defect reporting
Key Responsibilities
Test Planning and Strategy:
Collaborate with stakeholders to understand project requirements and define test strategies
Create detailed comprehensive and well-structured test plans and test cases.
Strong Debugging skills are needed.
Manual Testing:
Perform functional regression integration and user acceptance testing
Identify document and track bugs using defect tracking tools
Execute test cases and evaluate results to ensure the software meets business needs
Automation Testing:
Develop and maintain automated test scripts for functional and regression testing.
Creating Test Scripts with Playwright and integrating the tests into CI/CD pipeline.
Select and utilize appropriate test automation frameworks and tools
Reporting and Documentation:
Document test results generate test reports and provide feedback to developers
Ensure clear and precise documentation of issues defects and test execution steps
Collaboration and Communication:
Work closely with developers product managers and other stakeholders to resolve issues
Participate in sprint planning daily stand-ups and retrospectives in Agile environments
Continuous Improvement:
Stay up to date with industry trends and tools in software testing
Recommend and implement process improvements to enhance software quality
