Our client is a fintech company that is looking for a qualified candidate to join their firm.
Job description
Develop and implement a comprehensive QA strategy that emphasizes test automation over manual testing to increase efficiency scalability and defect prevention.
Analyze product requirements identify gaps or ambiguities and ensure complete test coverage.
Design and execute detailed test cases based on a deep understanding of software requirements test design techniques and QA best practices.
Manage end-to-end testing activities from initial planning through delivery including tracking and reporting bugs and test progress.
Act as a hybrid QA Engineer creating and maintaining automated test scripts for assigned projects to ensure continuous integration and quality delivery.
Develop and maintain end-to-end (E2E) test automation frameworks overseeing both implementation and operational stages.
Collaborate in an Agile development environment working closely with developers product owners and designers to deliver high-quality reliable software products.
Enhance QA visibility and reporting creating metrics dashboards and insights to measure and improve testing performance.
Continuously improve QA processes standardize best practices and foster knowledge sharing within the QA community.
Proactively propose new ideas and contribute to advancing the companys QA/QC standards and culture.
Mentor review and provide training for junior QA team members to strengthen team performance and capability.
Requirements
5 years of experience in web application testing across multiple platforms and environments.
Strong understanding of software testing methodologies processes and techniques.
Hands-on experience with test automation frameworks and scripting languages (preferably Playwright).
Solid experience with API testing using Postman or similar tools.
Proven ability to work effectively in cross-functional Agile/Scrum teams.
Proficiency with issue and test management tools such as Jira and TestRail.
Excellent English communication and documentation skills.
Passionate about quality assurance with a curious open-minded and self-driven attitude.
Experience in performance testing or security testing is a plus.
ISTQB certification or equivalent is an advantage.
Previous experience leading QA teams of 5 members is a strong plus.
