Job Description
Eurofins PSS is seeking a highly experienced and motivated scientist to support analytical method development validation and GMP sample testing. This role also includes team leadership responsibilities overseeing a group of Eurofins PSS employees at a client site.
Technical Duties:
- Perform complex GMP assays (PCR ELISA NGS cell-based assays)
- Lead method transfer qualification and validation for bioassays
- Author/review SOPs and technical reports
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams on method development and investigations
- Analyze and trend assay data for consistency and compliance
Leadership Duties:
- Supervise and support a team of on-site Eurofins PSS employees
- Assist with hiring onboarding and training
- Provide mentorship and performance feedback
- Ensure lab operations meet quality and efficiency standards
- Foster a collaborative and positive team environment
Qualifications :
- Bachelors degree with 38 years or Masters degree with 25 years of relevant experience
- Strong background in GMP method validation and sample testing
- Experience with method transfer into GMP labs
- Knowledge of FDA/EMA regulatory expectations
- Excellent communication and problem-solving skills
- Supervisory experience preferred
- Potency assay and LIMS experience a plus
- Must be authorized to work in the U.S. without restriction or sponsorship
Additional Information :
The position is full-time and permanent Monday-Friday 8 am-5 pm with overtime as needed. Candidates living near or in Cambridge MA are encouraged to apply.
