About You

As Early Careers and Workforce Planning Lead youll design and deliver forward-thinking strategies that develop inclusive talent pipelines and ensure Birmingham City Council has the skills needed for the future.

In this pivotal role youll lead our approach to apprenticeships graduate schemes and internships while driving workforce planning across the organisation. Working closely with HR OD and service leads youll forecast future needs identify skills gaps and embed data-driven solutions. Youll also manage key partnerships with training providers oversee compliance with funding and regulatory frameworks and influence strategic transformation initiatives.
