Pixellots automated sports production solutions revolutionize traditional video capture production and distribution processes enabling professional and amateur sports organizations to affordably cover and monetize their events. As a Research Scientist - AI you will have a direct impact on the companys innovation and success playing a crucial role in advancing our core AI capabilities.As part of your role you will:
- Conduct cutting-edge research and develop novel AI algorithms with a focus on Large Language Models (LLMs) Vision-Language Models (VLMs) and Retrieval Augmented Generation (RAG) techniques.
- Design implement and evaluate deep learning models for various applications including advanced computer vision tasks.
- Contribute to the entire research lifecycle from theoretical exploration and experimental design to proof-of-concept development and integration into our products.
- Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams including engineers and product managers to translate research prototypes into robust and scalable solutions.
- Stay abreast of the latest advancements in AI research contributing to publications and internal knowledge sharing.
- degree from a prominent academic institute in a relevant field (e.g. Computer Science Artificial Intelligence Machine Learning Electrical Engineering or equivalent).
- Proven industry or research experience with Large Language Models (LLMs) Vision-Language Models (VLMs) and Retrieval Augmented Generation (RAG) systems.
- Strong theoretical and practical understanding of deep learning particularly for computer vision tasks.
- Excellent programming skills with strong proficiency in Python.
- Hands-on experience with deep learning frameworks such as PyTorch.
- Familiarity with the HuggingFace Transformers library and ecosystem.
- Demonstrated ability for independent research problem-solving and self-learning.
- Experience with deployment of AI models to production environments.
- Familiarity with other deep learning platforms (e.g. Pytorch Keras).
