POSITION: Training Manager (Field management)

REPORTS TO: Sr. Training Manager

FLSA:Exempt

LOCATION:Dallas or Houston TX

OVERVIEW: The Training Manager is responsible for Training and Development in a specified region on behalf of the Kering Beaut brand The House of Creed. The position will serve as a training resource to the field team while driving the implementation of training strategies including the advancement of Creed knowledge and skill for the Sales force.

CORE RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Works with the Sales Management team support training strategy for the field team.

  • Functions as the primary training and development partner for the Sales field team in designated region.

  • Facilitates centralized training for new Product Specialists RSMs and AEs to provide on-brand orientation.

  • Is passionate about and effective in leading Sales and Service coaching at counter with field managers and specialists.

  • Builds strong relationships with the corporate team field team and retail partners in region.

  • Strong focus on meeting customer expectations both internally and externally.

  • Utilizes the most up to date Training and Development materials to support the field team.

  • Collaborates cross-functionally with Sales Marketing and Corporate Communications to support all programming to ensure a consistent message.

  • Keeps master training schedule up to date for all current and new training sessions for the region.

  • Follows-up with RSMs/AEs on all Creed onboarding requirements for new Product Specialists.

  • Follows-up with RSD on all Creed onboarding requirements for new RSMs/AEs.

  • Identifies training and development opportunities in region and raises them promptly to Head of Training and Development.

  • Models coaching behavior while working with field team.

  • Uses coaching skills to develop Sales Team in support of making customer experience and sales goals.

  • Supports NYC office training sessions when needed.

  • Collaborates in content development to ensure relevance to field team.

  • Shares feedback from store visits with Training and Development team to make improvements to Customer Experience Marketing and Sales programs in store.

  • Collaborates with Sales leadership and other relevant departments to implement and drive Customer Experience selling ceremony in region.

  • Travels consistently in-market to ensure continued development of the Sales team message consistency and discover best practices and key learnings.

  • Participates in regional meetings and Summit/Town Halls.

  • Acts as a company ambassador for all Kering Beaut corporate messaging.

  • Active participant on Training and Development Team to support build and refine new and existing training programs.

  • Embodies the firms vision to inspire our clients through beauty innovations and the narrative of luxury while championing company practices and culture.

  • Seeks to promote and cultivate the company and brand awareness with external partners.

CORE REQUIREMENTS

  • Bachelors Degree preferred

  • 5 years relevant experience (combination of retail and training experience)

  • Experience working in store required; luxury sector and beauty or fragrance industry experience strongly preferred

  • Solid leadership and performance coaching skills

  • Strong platform skills

  • Innovative thinker and approach to business

  • Excellent communication/presentation interpersonal and customer service skills

  • Demonstrates strong organizational skills and the ability to think critically

  • Demonstrates patience with reluctant employees and partners

  • Solid motivational/leadership skills and is a team player

  • In store 90% of time with travel required
