About You

This is a fantastic opportunity to shape the future of work at Birmingham City Council by leading the development and delivery of our HR policy framework. As an HR Policy Specialist youll ensure our employment policies are not only legally compliant but aligned to our values strategic goals and the evolving social and political landscape. Youll work closely with trade unions senior leaders and internal stakeholders to drive meaningful policy change that supports a modern people-centred organisation.

With a sharp understanding of employment law and the ability to translate complex legal and strategic insights into clear practical policies youll be a key advisor at the heart of the councils transformation. From supporting hybrid and flexible working to managing industrial relations risks your work will ensure Birmingham City Council continues to lead with fairness innovation and accountability.
