This is a permanent position with a key focus on bookkeeping (approx. 70%) alongside general office management (approx. 30%).

The Role
Bookkeeping
Manage daily financial transactions using accounting software
Bank reconciliations legal cashiering and managing office and client accounts
Prepare monthly reports payment runs and VAT returns
Liaise with external accountants and support year-end procedures
Handle payroll preparation and staff expenses
Office Management
Oversee general office operations including suppliers maintenance and inventory
Support HR administration such as absence tracking holiday logs and onboarding
Act as first point of contact for utilities insurance and regulatory renewals
Maintain staff files and ensure GDPR and compliance protocols are followed
Support smooth day-to-day functioning of the legal team
The Person What Were Looking For
Prior experience in bookkeeping or legal cashiering ideally in a professional services setting
Strong IT and accounting software skills
Familiarity with solicitor accounts rules is desirable
Organised reliable and able to manage both finance and operations
Comfortable working independently in a small team environment
Professional discreet and good with people
