About the Role
The Foster Care Team Leader reports to the Foster Care and Permanency Programs Area Coordinator. This role will be responsible for leadership and service delivery of a casework carer support or contact worker team to ensure the requirements for the young people families and carers we support the community state government and legislation are met.

Duties
- Lead and manage foster care team performance
- Improve processes for carer support and casework
- Monitor and ensure compliance with case documentation
- Build internal and external stakeholder relationships
- Respond to incidents and oversee service contracts
Skills and Experience
- 5 years in therapeutic or family-based care
- 3 years in leadership within child/family services
- Proven supervision and reflective practice skills
- Strong knowledge of child protection legislation
- Direct experience supporting complex young people
