Role Summary
The Senior Analyst will support DCS transformation initiatives by analyzing data tracking project progress and providing insights to improve project delivery and efficiency ultimately supporting business decision-making and senior management. This role will also a) develop reporting views and SmartReporting dashboards to track project progress along with other broader financial metrics and b) support the finance function by identifying understanding and highlighting risks and dependencies for transformation projects and providing financial validation on operational savings.
Core Responsibilities
- Drive transformation initiatives that align with business goals and leverages technology to achieve desired outcomes
- Map and assess current state of teams systems and processes aiming to identify pain points and inefficiencies
- Partner with Procurement Information Technology and any other applicable departments on any DCS projects
- Lead meetings with key stakeholders to drive projects forward and present findings to senior management making recommendations based on analysis and trends
- Own the cost/benefit of operational models to determine the fiscal/budgetary impact of DCS projects for Finances final sign off. Also understand the current operational financial analyses and build out recommendations on incremental data that could be used to enhance the financial models
- Create and maintain Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) and support all teams with any data analysis needs
- Create SmartReporting dashboards in coordination with IT to share progress and insights with executives
- Conduct ad hoc analyses at the request of senior executives
Education Years of Experience Specialized Knowledge or Skills Required:
- MS Office Suite Working with Financial models Expertise with analytic tools and a high technological aptitude Proficiency in developing PowerPoint decks Excel formulas (lookups index/match pivot tables)
- Familiarity with Project Management Softwares
The anticipated base salary for this position is $73100 to $96.900. This role may also qualify for annual incentive and/or comprehensive benefits. The actual base salary offered will depend on a variety of factors including without limitation the qualifications of the individual applicant for the position years of relevant experience level of education attained certifications or other professional licenses held and if applicable the location of the position.
