Job Description
RN-Operating Room Permanent Role
- Location: Dallas TX 75246
- Shift: 12 HR Days 07:00 AM - 07:00 PM
- Guaranteed: 36 Hours
- Compensation: Based on experience.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide safe effective and high-quality nursing care during the perioperative phase.
- Assist the surgical team with procedures ensuring all equipment and supplies are available and functioning.
- Monitor patient condition and respond to changes in status throughout the operative procedure.
- Document nursing care accurately and timely.
- Collaborate with surgeons anesthesiologists and other surgical staff to ensure seamless operations.
- Maintain a sterile environment and adhere to infection control protocols.
- Participate in pre-op and post-op assessments and patient education.
Education: Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN)-Required
Licensure: Active Registered Nurse (RN) License in the state of Texas.
Certifications:
-
Basic Life Support (BLS)-Required (must be obtained within 30 days of hire)
Experience:
- Minimum 1 year of RN experience-Required
- Minimum 1 year of OR experience Required
- Cardiovascular/Thoracic OR experience-Required.
