Job Overview:
We are seeking an experienced Trainer for Caregivers to develop and deliver training programs for individuals pursuing a career in caregiving. The trainer will provide hands-on and theoretical knowledge about elderly care disability care patient care and household assistance. The role requires understanding Nepal s healthcare and caregiving industry including international caregiving standards for those seeking opportunities abroad.
Key Responsibilities:
Training & Curriculum Development
- Develop and implement a structured training curriculum for caregivers based on national and international caregiving standards.
- Train caregivers in personal care techniques including bathing dressing feeding mobility support and hygiene maintenance.
- Provide instruction on basic nursing care including vital signs monitoring medication reminders and emergency response procedures.
- Educate caregivers on elderly and disability care.
- Teach communication and soft skills to help caregivers interact professionally with patients and families.
- Provide practical training on household management including sanitation and home safety.
Assessment & Support
- Conduct theoretical and practical assessments to evaluate trainees skills and knowledge.
- Provide individual coaching and feedback to improve caregiver competency.
- Offer guidance on job readiness and employer expectations for domestic and international placements.
Qualifications & Requirements:
- Educational Background: Minimum Bachelor s degree in Nursing Public Health Social work or a related field.
- Experience: At least 2 4 years of experience in caregiving nursing or healthcare training.
- Certifications: Preferred First Aid CPR or Caregiver Training Certifications recognized in Nepal or internationally.
- Soft Skills: Strong communication patience and the ability to motivate and mentor trainees from diverse backgrounds.
