Job Summary

Position: Travel Registered Nurse Emergency Room

Location: Rochester NY 14621

Start Date: 09/30/2025 (Late September/October)

Contract Length: 13 weeks

Shift: 3x12 Nights (every other weekend required)

Locals: Must live 75 miles from facility & (First-time travelers accepted)

Pay breakdown:

Hourly rate $62.98 $22.00 taxable $40.98 non-taxable

Weekly Gross $2267.00 $792.00 taxable $1475.00 stipend

Requirements

Experience: Minimum 2 years (ER experience required)

License: NY RN License in hand (required at time of submission)

Travel Experience: Not required

Charting: EPIC (mandatory)

Certifications (required): BLS ACLS NIHSS

Preferred: PALS TNCC

Skills: IV therapy phlebotomy central line care ventilator management dysrhythmia interpretation trauma neuro pediatrics

Unit Details

Setting: General Emergency Department (Adult & Peds combined)

Patient Ratios: Days 1:5 Nights not specified Weekends 1:5

Support: IV Teams Respiratory PT Radiology Social Services RRT Pharmacy

Orientation: 24 hours (16 hrs non-billable modules up to 5 hrs billable)

Floating: Required

NOTES:

RTO: 1 request pre-approved

Return staff policy: 1 year

Observed holidays include New Years Day Memorial Day Independence Day Labor Day Thanksgiving and Christmas (all from 11 PM prior day 11 PM holiday day).
COVID vaccine not required; Flu vaccine status unknown.
