Job Description

Imagine using your skills to elevate inspection precision in a high-performance manufacturing environment. This is an opportunity for a CMM Specialist who thrives on detail consistency and the challenge of dimensional accuracy. In this position youll work closely with quality engineers and manufacturing personnel to perform critical inspections using advanced CMM equipment. Youll play a key role in both routine checks and non-standard measurement requestssupporting production and tooling teams through hands-on metrology expertise. For those looking to pivot into deeper programming or multi-platform measurement work this team also offers strong growth potential.

What Youll Do:

  • Operate CMM equipment to perform in-process and final inspections

  • Run existing inspection programs interpret output and ensure part conformity

  • Collaborate with quality and engineering teams to resolve measurement discrepancies

  • Document inspection results per internal and industry standards

  • Support tooling inspections for forging dies and post-machining analysis

  • Maintain CMM equipment and ensure calibration standards are met

What Youll Need:

  • 2 years operating CMM equipment in a production or quality control environment

  • Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and GD&T

  • Familiarity with either Zeiss Calypso or PCDMIS platforms (or both)

  • Experience working with forged or machined components

  • Comfortable working in a regulated high-precision manufacturing environment

Whats Preferred:

  • Exposure to die or tool inspection workflows

  • Understanding of theoretical datums and advanced GD&T callouts

  • Familiarity with aerospace or medical manufacturing standards

  • Interest in learning programming or developing multi-software capability
