Job Purpose:
The Environmental Services Coordinator performs a variety of duties to maintain clean sanitary orderly and attractive conditions for patients families and employees. This position is responsible for dusting mopping disinfecting gathering waste and other duties as needed under the supervision of a team leader. The Environmental ServicesCoordinator assists the Director of Environmental Services with staff management leadership back-up inventory trainings and quality to ensure the team provides a clean safe environment for our patients their families and our staff.
Essential Duties & Responsibilities:
Duty
Percent of Time
Performs daily weekly and monthly cleaning tasks and other duties as assigned by supervisor.

Maintains expected inventory of supplies in housekeeping carts janitor closets soiled utility room and shower rooms. Restock and request an order when supplies are low.

Follows all safety and infection control protocols to prevent infection and cross contamination.

Assists the Environmental Services Manager with staff management leadership back-up inventory trainings and quality

Qualifications:
Education:
High School diploma or equivalent preferred.
Experience:
3 years of experience; Healthcare experience preferred.
