The Academic Administrator will support Campus Leadership by providing targeted academic oversight and support as needed.
- Responsible for overseeing the instructional programs and supports at targeted high schools.
- Guide and facilitate PLCs.
- Provide deliver and organize targeted professional development for campus staff.
- Provide overall leadership and assistance to the academic progress of the campus.
- Evaluate support provide feedback to improve teachers and their student outcomes.
- Foster a collaborative environment amongst teachers.
- Analyze data to guide short term and long term student and campus level outcomes.
- Monitor academic progress (grades assessments etc.) to identify areas of focus and individualization.
- Ensure interventions to include tutoring are being implemented.
WORK ENVIRONMENT:
The noise level in the work environment is usually moderate. Travel throughout the district is integral to this job. A remote working environment /alternate work arrangement is not an option for campus-based employees/campus-based positions because regular and punctual attendance at the worksite and performing all duties at the worksite are essential job duties for all campus-based personnel.
- Masters Degree from an accredited university.
- Texas standard Principal certificate one-year Texas Probationary Principal Certification Texas mid-management certificate.
- 3-5 years of experience as a Campus Instructional Leader.
- Demonstrated effective communication with all levels.
- Ability to effectively identify student academic needs.
- Demonstrated ability to make data-driven decisions.
