Job Description
Job Title: Server Administrator(Must Have Prior State Exp )
Location: Pontiac MI (Onsite Role)
Position Summary:Seeking a seasoned Server Administrator with strong SCCM/ECM expertise for a critical role focused on workstation lifecycle management including patch/update deployments and software distribution. The ideal candidate will bring at least 6 years of hands-on experience in managing on-premises SCCM/ECM environments and demonstrate a solid track record of identifying system gaps and implementing effective solutions.
Key Responsibilities:
- Administer and support System Center Configuration Manager (SCCM) and Enterprise Client Management (ECM) in an on-premise environment.
- Manage patch management software deployment and workstation lifecycle processes through SCCM.
- Assess SCCM/ECM environment for deficiencies and proactively propose and implement enhancements such as:
- Configuration updates
- Topology modifications
- Integration with third-party tools
- Monitor and maintain Windows Server environments and core infrastructure systems.
- Work closely with security infrastructure and service desk teams to ensure smooth operations.
Required Experience & Skills:
- 6 years of hands-on experience with SCCM/ECM in an enterprise environment.
- Expertise in:
- Patch/update deployments
- Software distribution
- System troubleshooting and optimization
- Strong understanding of enterprise SCCM architecture and challenges.
- Experience with configuration and integration of tools supporting SCCM/ECM.
- Proficiency in PowerShell scripting for automation and administrative tasks.
- Solid experience with:
Windows Server OS
