Position Summary:
UltraCare Liaison - UCL is the professional that leads the development of strategies in their assigned geographical territories to interact with HCPs for the promotion of the authorized therapies to advance in the knowledge of rare diseases to connect with Institutions to support in the diagnostic program and to achieve an effective access to Ultragenyx therapies.

Work Model:
Remote: Officially documented as working full-time from home with travel to Ultragenyxs offices or other locations on occasion as needed.
The position will be located in Bogota or Medellin.
Responsibilities:
- Self-directed territory and travel management to conduct all the interactions with HCPs as well as to ensure that targets are reached in an efficient manner in all assigned territories.
- Present clinical and relevant data in front of different audiences
- Serve as territory business owner with a focus upon impact and territory analysis. Other key areas of focus include optimizing: i) patient diagnosis and care ii) educating and expanding the healthcare provider community iii) treatment fulfillment and iv) compliance to treatment
- Represent the physician market and field perspective during internal planning and strategy meetings
- Serve on cross-functional teams as requested as a conduit for accurate and updated medical/market information market intelligence and HCP feedback
- Responsible for executing Market Access plans to accelerate access for patients with rare diseases as well as for building credible and productive relationships with payers
- Be compliant with Ultragenyx Code of Conduct policies and procedures
Requirements:
- Minimum - Bachelors Degree with 5 years experience in pharmaceutical industry preferably in the rare disease business.
- Strategic business acumen natural leader.
- Clinical knowledge expertise.
- Ability to collaborate with different stakeholders to achieve the same goals
- Demonstrated experience effectively presenting clinical/scientific information required
- Must be action-oriented a problem solver patient and customer focused possess excellent verbal
- Communication and presentation skills.
- Spanish and English preferable
- Position will require 65% travel including overnight business travel
