We are looking for a proactive sleeves rolled up HR Business Partner to support a real step change in how we work.

You will play a key part in our dynamic Human Resources team working closely with leaders and supporting employees across Australia and New Zealand. You will engage influence and partner with your client groups developing a deep understanding of the business strategy balancing both the people and commercial landscapes to focus on business outcomes and results.

You will partner with the business to drive people initiatives around employee engagement leadership development and talent management whilst providing support and guidance to the business across all other aspects of HR.

Youll play a key role in enhancing our people strategy educating and empowering leaders building strong cross-functional relationships and promoting a positive and performance-driven culture and you will also get to work on various local projects while helping to build stronger global relationships.

This is an ideal role for someone who is not afraid to roll up their sleeves and make things happen.

What youll be working on

  • Work with the Head of HR ANZ Senior HR Business Partner and your client groups to plan develop and build people initiatives that align to the business strategy.

  • Create and maintain relationships with leaders at all levels through regular open conversations that support business outcomes.

  • Provide support & advice to client groups across the whole employee life cycle including attraction of talent employee development engagement performance management learning & development and compensation & benefits.

  • Support and promote CMC Market wide HR initiatives through proactive engagement with the HR team by adapting and delivering people initiatives to your client groups.

  • Maintain and develop business knowledge; keeping abreast of business initiatives strategies and results through regular engagement with the business

  • Make data-driven decisions using data to identify trends and areas for improvement translating data into actionable insights for each of your client groups.

  • Build leadership capability through coaching mentoring advice on development and training opportunities.

What will help you to be successful

  • At least 4 years experience in a HR Advisor / Consultant role or 1-3 years as a HR Business Partner or equivalent role; ideally Finance or Technology background

  • Proven experience in both strategic and operational activities

  • Ideally tertiary qualifications in a HR business or psychology related discipline

  • Proven strong influencing coaching and communication skills

  • Sound knowledge and experience in all aspects of Australian employment law (New Zealand employment law experience desirable)

  • Experience with entire HR remit with a focus on the employee experience development and performance management cycle including employment relations

  • Proven experience in building trusted relationships at all levels of the business
