Commissioning - Enhancing Outcomes
We have a rare opportunity for a commissioning professional to join our dedicated Team as a Commissioning Officer.
Our Commissioning Service is responsible for developing a strategic approach to commissioning accommodation and community-based support for children young people and adults in Wiltshire. With a focus on a whole-life pathway the service is dedicated to supporting Wiltshire residents continuously throughout their lives.
As a Quality & Performance Commissioning Officer you will build good working relationships with providers in and outside of Wiltshire complete quality assurance visits analyse commissioning data to produce insightful reports and present well-reasoned options for service improvements and potential cost savings to senior leadership. You will manage an allocation of providers projects and contracts applying your expertise to identify areas of concern or opportunities for further investigation. Working alongside Commissioning Leads and Managers you will support the monitoring of contracts and quality including those of high value or risk ensuring that providers consistently deliver high-quality care in line with agreed standards.
Our ideal candidate will demonstrate substantial experience in adult social care. Proven expertise in Adults Commissioning along with a strong track record of working with the Care Quality Commission (CQC) and other regulatory bodies is essential. A deep understanding of key legislationparticularly the Care Actwill be required as is expert knowledge of relevant laws and national guidelines governing adult social care.
