Job Description

As a Senior Planner you will be responsible for optimising the use of available resources to complete work plan scopes within budget and time constraints. Key responsibilities include:

  • Resource Optimisation: Work in an integrated planning cost and risk environment.
  • Scheduling Methodology: Follow established planning and scheduling methodology.
  • Schedule Risk Analysis: Carry out Schedule Risk Analysis throughout the project life cycle.
  • Project Milestones: Develop Project Milestone and Progress tracking baselines.
  • Contractor Management: Ensure contractor compliance and manage performance.

Qualifications :

  • Education: Bachelors Degree or relevant equivalent.
  • Experience: Extensive experience in a project planning role ideally consultancy.
  • Planning & Scheduling: Extensive experience in planning & scheduling of major capital projects ideally in the Infrastructure sector (Water Rail Roads Power).
  • Software Proficiency: Experienced user of Primavera Project Planner 6.
  • Risk & Data Analysis: Experience with risk identification and analysis and data analysis.
  • Project Management: Demonstrated knowledge of project management principles (PMP certification is desirable).

The ideal candidate will be autonomous proactive in problem-solving and able to quickly learn the project delivery particulars of the client with minimal supervision. They should have a positive attitude be able to contribute to the wider team beyond their assigned projects and drive and coordinate solutions as part of a broader controls team. The role will report directly to the client and maintain relationships with the wider Turner & Townsend team reporting back to the Turner & Townsend manager and leadership team.
