Role Overview:
Were hiring a Senior React Native Developer who is highly proficient in building mobile apps using React Native. The ideal candidate should also have prior experience working with for web applications even if the current role is purely mobile-focused.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and maintain cross-platform mobile apps using React Native.
- Work closely with designers product managers and backend developers to deliver robust features.
- Integrate mobile apps with REST APIs and third-party services.
- Optimize app performance and ensure smooth user experiences on both Android and iOS.
- Write clean reusable and scalable code with strong documentation.
- Leverage prior experience to ensure consistency between mobile and web platforms (when needed).
- Perform code reviews and mentor junior developers on the team.
- Stay current with mobile development trends and best practices.
Required Skills & Experience:
- Bachelors degree in Computer Science or related field.
- 4 years of hands-on experience with React Native.
- Solid background in development (min. 12 years).
- Strong command of JavaScript (ES6) TypeScript Redux/MobX.
- Experience integrating with REST APIs and third-party SDKs (Firebase Google Maps etc.).
- Familiarity with deployment processes for both App Store and Google Play.
- Understanding of mobile UI/UX design principles.
- Experience with version control systems (Git).
- Strong problem-solving debugging and performance tuning skills.
- Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.
Nice to Have:
- Experience with native Android or iOS development.
- Knowledge of testing tools (Jest Detox etc.).
- Familiarity with CI/CD for mobile apps.
