Job Description
BH Staff Nurse is responsible for the nursing care of patients as team leader as well as the interpretation and implementation of physician-directed care. Ensures the needs of patients are meet. Consults with family members and other members of the healthcare team. May assume charge nurse duties when adequately prepared.
Minimum Education
Required Education:
X Associates degree Required
Bachelors degree Preferred Required
Other: Minimum 3 years in experience providing care in mental health and/or substance abuse. Supervisory experience required.

1. Data Entry using Electronic Medical Record
2. Team player
3. Ability to handle a high stress environment
4. Ability to communicate and react effectively to the unique needs of the patients on the behavioral health unit.
Required License/Certifications:
Valid NC RN License
BLS required or obtained within first week of hire
Handle with Care completed within 90 days of hire.
Required Skills:
