Job Description

APM Terminals

We are looking to hire a Team Lead a people leader who will ensure seamless service delivery while nurturing talent and driving operational excellence. This role is pivotal in shaping the customer journey post-onboarding while also managing and developing a team of Customer Experience professionals.

Key Responsibilities:


As part of the Customer Experience vertical the role entails managing end-to-end service activities post-customer onboarding including but not limited to:

  • Customer channel and case management
  • Customer onboarding and relationship management
  • Contract and dispute resolution
  • Documentation and file management post-booking
  • System updates and operational finance handling
  • Proactive exception management and query resolution support


This is a management role responsible for leading a team with full people responsibilities:

  • Overseeing the employee lifecycle: hiring performance management development and engagement
  • Setting direction for team objectives and ensuring alignment with business goals
  • Coaching mentoring and enabling continuous growth for team members
  • Driving task prioritization quality and service KPIs

What We Are Looking For:

  • Bachelors/Masters Degree with 712 years of relevant experience including people management experience
  • Strong domain knowledge in customer service operations and logistics (preferred)
  • Proven ability to manage cross-functional tasks and deliver under pressure
  • Capable of working independently while knowing when to seek guidance for complex issues
  • People management experience would be preferred
  • Excellent interpersonal stakeholder management and communication skills
  • Fluent in English (written and spoken)
