They operate at scale. As part of Flutter Entertainment they play an essential role in the Groups goal of becoming the global leader in online sports betting and iGaming developing innovative products and platforms for over 14 million monthly customers worldwide.
As an Engineering Manager you will lead inspire and motivate a multidisciplinary team of up to 6 developers and 1 QA fostering a high-quality outcome-oriented culture. You will be responsible not only for the successful delivery of your teams projects but also for creating an environment that encourages innovation collaboration and continuous improvement. By actively coaching your team members you will help develop their skills and careers ensuring they have clear goals and the support they need to succeed. Additionally you will work closely with product owners and stakeholders to align technical delivery with business objectives proactively managing risks and dependencies to keep projects on track.
Lead and manage your teams delivery ensuring quality and timely execution of projects.
Support team members career growth through performance appraisals and coaching.
Act as liaison between your team and key internal/external stakeholders.
Collaborate with peer Engineering Managers to align on priorities identify risks and remove blockers.
Support product owners and other stakeholders throughout the product lifecycle.
Drive continuous improvement using Scrum methodology and data-driven insights.
Manage incident response and use defect tracking systems to maintain software quality.
Proven track record leading and managing multidisciplinary teams delivering complex software projects.
Strong technical background with knowledge of distributed redundant and transactional systems.
Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills (English and Portuguese).
Experience in career development coaching and fostering collaborative team culture.
Strong analytical skills to identify technical risks and resolve issues.
Demonstrated professional attitude work ethic and leadership by example.
Experience with incident management and defect tracking systems.
