Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Personal Lines Account Manager to join our team. The individual in this role will be responsible for managing a portfolio of personal lines insurance accounts and providing exceptional customer service to clients.
Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with clients understanding their insurance needs and providing tailored solutions
- Serve as the main point of contact for client inquiries policy changes and claims assistance
- Review and analyze client portfolios to ensure appropriate coverage and identify opportunities for cross-selling or upselling
- Work closely with insurance carriers to obtain quotes negotiate terms and secure the best coverage for clients
- Stay informed about industry trends market changes and regulatory updates to effectively advise clients on their insurance options
- Collaborate with the sales team to support business development efforts and contribute to the overall growth of the agency
Qualifications/Requirements
- At least 2 years of relevant insurance industry experience
- Strong understanding of personal lines insurance products coverage options and underwriting processes
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to build rapport and trust with clients
- Proficient in using insurance agency management systems and Microsoft Office suite
- An active P&C (Property and Casualty) insurance license is required
