The School District of Clayton is seeking a Teacher Assistant for the 2025-2026 school year. Ateacher assistant provides in-class and pull-out support and works closely with classroom teachers to design revise teach and assess lessons. Successful candidates will be academically talented and well-versed in general fundamentals; able to gain a thorough knowledge of the enacted curriculum able to collaborate well with others use a variety of teaching strategies and have the ability to recognize and respond to individual needs of students.
We are seeking child-centered teaching professionals with a strong sense of mission and a broad base of knowledge in pedagogy who understand the academic social and emotional needs of children.
The Successful Candidate:
Education: A minimum of a Bachelors degree is required.
Certification: Missouri Substitute Certificate Teaching Certificate preferred.
Experience: Preferred.

Work Calendar: 188 day calendar(10 months 7.5 hours/day)
