Position Description:
The Certification Coordinator is responsible for performing all duties relating to certification tuition reimbursement and highly qualified status of all employees. The Certification Coordinator supports Human Resources processes by assisting employees with obtaining or maintaining certification ensuring the district remains in compliance with Louisiana Department of Education Bulletin 741 and assisting with the preparation of the districts PEP report.

Scope of Responsibility:
- Monitorsandtrackscertificationofalldistrict
- Consults with non-certifiedemployeesandprovidethemwithalternativecertificationoptionstoassistthemingaining
- EvaluatesdistrictcertificationandsubmitsrequireddataforannualPEPreporttotheappropriate
- Developspartnershipswithlocalcollegesanduniversitiestoremainabreastofalternativecertificationprogram
- Conducts in-service on Certification/Tuition Reimbursement for school-basedemployeesonanasneeded
- Processes Tuition Reimbursement applications and required documents associated with Tuition Reimbursement to ensure employees are enrolled in the appropriate courses and receive a timely
- DevelopsandmaintainsarecordkeepingsystemforallparticipantsintheTuition Reimbursement
- MaintainsappropriatedocumentationofallcommunicationwithemployeeswhohavecertificationconcernsandconductcertificationconsultationsifapplicableorparticipatesinHumanResourceshearings if necessary
- Processesinitialandrenewalcertificationapplicationsinatimely
- ParticipatesinconferencesseminarsortrainingshostedbytheLDOEtoremainabreastofchangesincertification
- TravelsandprovidessupporttotheRecruitmentandSelectionteamduringpeakrecruitmentseasonandparticipateinrecruitment
- Performs other duties outlined by the Director of Recruitment and Selection and Chief Human Resources Officer
Skills and Qualifications:
We seek detail-oriented independent and/or possess:
- Bachelors Degree or
- Valid Louisiana Teacher
- Three(3)yearsofsuccessfulteaching
- Ability to work a flexible schedule including

- High degree of professionalism with the ability to manage multiple competing priorities while consistently demonstrating sound judgment and disciplined

Physical Involvement:
