Job Description
Job Title: Advanced Network Administrator
Location:Tennessee
Experience Level: Mid-Level (Minimum 2 Years)
Position Overview:
We are seeking an experienced Advanced Network Administrator to support and maintain Local Area Network (LAN) systems including servers used across the Wide Area Network (WAN) for enterprise applications. This role requires hands-on experience with network hardware/software installation issue diagnosis and service restoration. The ideal candidate must be proactive detail-oriented and able to collaborate effectively with vendors and technical support teams to ensure network reliability and optimal performance.
Key Responsibilities:

Administer and support LAN infrastructure and connected servers within an enterprise WAN environment.

Perform installation configuration and maintenance of hardware and software components across the network.

Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to service disruptions system performance and compatibility between software and hardware.

Coordinate with external vendors and internal IT teams to rapidly identify and resolve network-related issues.

Maintain documentation for network configurations procedures and problem resolutions.

Monitor network performance and implement improvements to ensure optimal uptime and user access.

Assist in the planning and deployment of system upgrades and new technologies.
Required Qualifications:

Minimum of 2 years of recent hands-on experience in a network administration role.

Proficiency in managing LAN and WAN environments including servers switches routers and firewalls.

Strong diagnostic skills for both hardware and software issues in an integrated network environment.

Ability to handle high-pressure situations and respond quickly to technical issues and outages.

Knowledge of industry best practices related to network security redundancy and scalability.

Excellent communication and collaboration skills especially when working with vendors and multi-functional teams.
