Are you ready to lead the charge in transforming materials operations into a world-class lean system Join our team as a Senior Material Flow Engineer and play a pivotal role in optimizing material flow driving continuous improvement and championing innovative solutions to achieve operational excellence.As a Senior Material Flow Engineer youll:
Drive Lean Manufacturing Excellence
Implement key lean methodologies such as Plan for Every Part (PFEP) Single Piece Flow (SPF) and other core principles.
Oversee material flow and supplier management for seamless production support.
Optimize transportation packaging and shop floor flow strategies to enhance efficiency.
Deliver Operational Impact
Exceed operational goals in scheduling inventory management transportation costs and cycle times.
Manage cutting-edge IT tools to streamline materials processes and drive cost reductions.
Interface across departments to align material strategies with production goals.
Champion Continuous Improvement
Foster a problem-solving culture that empowers your team to identify and resolve challenges.
Lead kaizen events and drive waste reduction initiatives.
Ensure adherence to safety quality and operational standards while championing innovative solutions.
Inspire Leadership and Development
Provide mentorship and career development for a high-performing cross-functional team.
Develop future leaders through coaching training and talent development initiatives.
Partner with HR to uphold fair and consistent policies while fostering an inclusive workplace culture.
Minimum Qualifications:
Bachelors degree in Engineering or related discipline.
5 years of experience in logistics distribution or supply chain with expertise in lean production methodologies.
Proficiency in AutoCAD MS Office and robotic languages.
Preferred Qualifications:
7 years of experience in manufacturing/plant operations.
Six Sigma certification and a track record of leadership success.
