Established Oil & Gas company is seeking a highly skilled and motivated Investor Relations Manager to join their team in Houston TX. The ideal candidate will possess a strong knowledge of capital markets and a robust background in financial modeling and financial reporting. This role requires outstanding verbal and written communication skills and in-depth knowledge of the oil and gas sector including industry-specific metrics and the regulatory environment. Hybrid & 9/80 work schedule options available eligible for bonus and LTIP.Responsibilities:
- Develop and maintain relationships with investors analysts and other stakeholders.
- Prepare and present financial reports investor presentations and other communications.
- Monitor market trends and industry developments providing strategic insights to the executive team.
- Manage multiple projects simultaneously in a fast-paced evolving work environment prioritizing tasks effectively while maintaining a long-term focus.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure consistent messaging and alignment with corporate goals.
- Continuously improve investor relations processes and strategies.
- Navigate both formal and informal channels to accomplish objectives.
Qualifications:
- Bachelors degree in Finance Accounting Economics Business or a related field; MBA or CFA preferred.
- 510 years of experience in investor relations corporate finance equity research or investment banking.
- Strong knowledge of capital markets and financial modeling.
- Proven experience in financial reporting and analysis.
- Expertise in the oil and gas sector with familiarity with industry-specific metrics and regulatory requirements.
- Exceptional verbal and written communication skills.
- Ability to manage multiple projects and prioritize tasks effectively.
- Credible forward-looking and comfortable interacting with executives internally and externally.
- Team player focused on continuous improvement.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite and investor relations platforms.
- Previous experience in a similar role within the oil and gas industry.
- Strong analytical and strategic thinking skills.
