We are looking for a Head of Sciences teacher. Experience teaching A Level is an advantage.

About the Role:
Key Objectives
1. To manage and lead the science faculty
2. To ensure the quality of learning for students through assisting teachers to set goals and develop and evaluate teaching programmes in line with international guidelines and school policies. Some of these responsibilities will be delegated to specified senior staff. (Curriculum Development)
3. To ensure that all members of the faculty perform to the best of their ability arranging for advice help and training where necessary. The aim is to achieve job satisfaction for all staff. (Staff Development)
4. To ensure that there are arrangements to check students progress through accurate recording of performance. (Student Progress).
5. To be responsible for the day-to-day management of the faculty budget in accordance with school policies. (Financial Management).
6. To manage and professionally lead the faculty implement policies and programmes direct and supervise all staff. The Head of faculty directs the day-to-day operations of the faculty within policies and guidelines laid down by the Principal and CEO as appropriate. (Administration)
7. To show professional leadership in classroom teaching and management across a range of classes.
The successful candidate may be based anywhere in New Zealand Europe or Australasia provided they have a stable internet connection.
