Job Description
HYBRID CONTRACT POSITION (1 DAY A WEEK ONSITE IN DOWNTOWN CHICAGO IS A MUST!)
LOCAL GREATER CHICAGO CANDIDATES WILL BE CONSIDERED FIRST!!!
DIRECT CLIENT IMMEDIATE START
JAVA 11 OR HIGHER
H1B/GC/USC
3 MS TEAMS INTERVIEWS WITH CODING!
BASIC QUALIFICATIONS:
Position requires a four-year degree from an accredited college or university.
Bachelors degree in Computer science or Electrical engineering or related field is required!
Minimum 15 years of Java Development experience
TOP CANDIDATES WILL ALSO HAVE:
Java 11 or higher version
Experience developing apps using SQL and NoSQL databases
Application architectural patterns such as MVC Microservices Event-Driven
TDD and BDD development
Deployment using CI/CD tools such as Jenkins GoCD Azure DevOps etc.
Deploying and maintaining software using public clouds such as AWS or Azure.
Experience working with MQs/Msg. Brokers such as Kafka RabbitMQ AWS SQS AWS SNS Apache ActiveMQ Kinesis - at least one of those!
Batch or stream processing
Experience designing well-defined Restful APIs
Experience writing API proxies on platforms such as Apigee Edge AWS API Gateway or Azure API Gateway (at least one of those)
Hands on experience with API tools such as Swagger and Assertible
Hands on experience with testing tools such as Selenium and Cucumber
IMPORTANT!!!
Must demonstrate solid knowledge of computer science fundamentals like data structures and algorithms.
