Job Description
Job Title: VPApplied AI Research Engineer Data & Analytics Engineering
Experience: 10 -14 Years
Location: Bengaluru
Requisites:
- Strong hands-on proficiency in Python and machine learning specific libraries like NumPy OpenCV scikit-learn pandas matplotlib seaborn etc
- Strong expertise in deep learning its mathematical foundations frameworks such as TensorFlow or PyTorch.
- Hands-on understanding of transfer learning fine-tuning of deep learning models esp. contemporary language models speech processing models retrieval models etc.
- Experience with NLP and basic understanding of other AI domains like computer vision Speech processing reinforcement learning etc.
- Understanding of AI/ML Lifecycle and basic understanding of systems like mellow Dataiku data bricks
- Strong desire and ability to influence development teams and help them adopt AI.
- Demonstrated ability to work effectively in a global organization and across time zones
Key Responsibilities:
- Benchmarking of different open/closed AI models for different AI tasks.
- Study and experiment with top research papers and associated code for different AI tasks e.g. ASR TTS NER embedding generation SLMs VLM tools usage planning orchestration guardrails evaluation etc.
- Develop a prototype to demonstrate model capabilities advanced usage patterns.
- Fine-tune smaller models for benchmarking on specific domains and evaluation.
- Collaborate with AI engineers to bring potential work to the platform.
